Malpas High School shown left was the Event and Raynet Control for the "Frostbite" event organised in conjunction with the Cheshire Constabulary. It was a race along the South Cheshire way and Sandstone trail run on what is historically the coldest weekend of the year!

APRS Screen Events are used for technology field trials. Here APRS - a combination of GPRS and packet radio - is used to track competitors and support personnel around the course. Vehicles can be seen at various points along the course. "WIDE" is a digipeater to provide coverage over the hilly terrain.

Wide Load The yellow lorry marked "Wide load" on the APRS screen was stationary for the whole weekend.

This chemical reactor vessel which was being transported as a structural part of the vehicle it was in had broken at the neck.

Wide Load It became a tourist attraction.
