VHF NFD 1995

Equipment and Results

Martin and G7PEH on 432MHz Martin from Cotebrook and Paul G7PEH operating 70cm in 1995.

Martin and G7PEH on 432MHz side view Martin and Paul again. This shows the now defunct 23cm transverter which was set up (in some hope) for ATV.

G0LBO & G6GAK, 2m & DX Cluster Julian G0LBO & Mike G6GAK with David G4XUV through the square window. The big TS-700G was thought to be going deaf and the generator was in bad shape so 2m swapped to the little Kenwood TR751E. It ran a QRP'ish 25W and was powered from the car parked outside. This combination worked 1600Km into Ibiza and then all over Germany later that night.
On the right is the 70cm DX Cluster which had us running errands to the 70cm tent (visible) and 23cm tent in pitch darkness.

G0LBO & G6GAK, 2m & DX Cluster Hans G4XFD is the main attraction at the back end of Sunday's 4m SSB section. The station comprises an FT-101B into a club built transverter which still exists.

Eric G0VOZ is seated with G4XUV sporting a stylish hat. Who is the big guy?
